About the Author

Tim Valente is a native New Englander and a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and Celtics. He enjoys blues music, playing guitar, traveling, cooking, and betting on horse races. He had a nearly four-decade career in advertising after graduating from the University of South Florida. He opened his own business in 1992 and remained its creative director until retiring in 2022. He lives in Florida with his wife of 33 years, Heidi, and they have two grown daughters.
